God's Grace is Sufficient

God's Grace is Sufficient. Sometimes during the course of our lives we will experience unexpected crisis. This could be anything from an illness the doctors cannot figure out the cause of up to the death of a loved one in your family or at work. In those times, we need to tap into God’s grace. I have been praying for a friend who is ill and the doctors can’t figure out what exactly is going on and I have been praying for God to give the spouse grace to go through whatever is next in their lives. When our friends and family receive some bad news sometimes the only thing we can do is pray. In today’s devotional, I want to encourage you to tap into God’s grace and to pray for others to receive God’s grace.

Tap into God’s Grace
# 136

2 Timothy 2:1 (KJV)
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
And he said to me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

During the course of our working lives, we will experience crisis—either at home or at work. How do we manage to get through it? By God’s grace that is available through Jesus Christ. If we find we can’t go on anymore, it means we are not tapping into God’s grace. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT). He gives us the grace we need on a daily basis to live through every one of the situations we experience. When we are weak He gives us strength to go on because He is our source of strength.

Therefore, ask God for His grace on a daily basis. When crisis comes, ask Him for a double dosage. He will give it to you, and you will have the strength to go through it. His grace is sufficient unto you.
